What is a mobile notary?

A mobile notary travels directly to your location—be it your home, office, hospital, or another convenient spot—eliminating the need for you to travel for your document notarization.

Please have a valid, government-issued photo ID ready (such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport). Your document should be completed but unsigned prior to the appointment.

What information is beneficial to know beyond common FAQs?

Understanding the notary process is key. It's important to know that the notary’s role is to be an impartial witness to the signing of a document. I verify the signer's identity and ensure they are signing willingly and understand the document they are signing, without providing legal advice. I also ensure all paperwork is handled accurately and efficiently, in full compliance with Nevada state regulations.

What can cause confusion during the notary process?

One common area of confusion can be the difference between an acknowledgment and a jurat. An acknowledgment confirms that the signer personally appeared, was identified, and acknowledged signing the document. A jurat requires the signer to swear or affirm the truthfulness of the document's contents, in addition to signing it in the notary’s presence. I am happy to explain these distinctions and any other part of the process to ensure clarity and confidence.

What are your business hours?

I offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. Please submit an Appointment form and I will promptly reply with confirmation.

How do I pay for your services?

Pricing/Fees can be located here on our website and payment options can be discussed after booking and confirmation of your appointment. I aim for transparency and convenience in all our transactions.
